- Plans, coordinates and is accountable for the major activities of a single or multiple division(s) within a clinical academic department including education programs, research grants and contracts, clinical operations, development, financial analysis, and personnel management.

Responsibilities
- Plans and manages the daily business and administrative operations in an assigned area.
- Implements organizational policies and procedures designed to accomplish departmental and divisional priorities and long-range goals.
- Prepares various operation and statistical reports and maintains applicable records and files. Maintain proper equipment and inventory levels.
- Collaborates with other personnel to resolve customer service issues, improve cost containment, increase productivity, and meet demands.
- Works with the division chief to develop and administer the capital equipment, operations, and personnel budgets and to establish division short and long term objectives.
