About the role
- Project Managers at Selene Finance are responsible for managing a range of business and technology projects of moderate complexity.
- Project Managers work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication, timely execution, and alignment with business goals.
- The ideal candidate is comfortable managing projects independently and contributing to Agile practices in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage project delivery within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
- Identify and escalate risks and issues, and support mitigation planning.
- Follow established project management processes and maintain documentation.
- Support project delivery from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to identify solutions.
- Maintain project documentation and assets.
Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- 3-5 years of experience as a project manager or in a similar role managing project scope, timelines, and delivery.
- 1-2 years of experience working with Agile teams using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO), including participation in scrum ceremonies.
- Familiarity with task planning, dependencies, and resource coordination.
- General knowledge of technology and business operations.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support technology-driven solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Customer-service orientation and team collaboration mindset.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services or loan servicing is a plus.
