- This position is an engineering role within the Launcher Program Office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage activities of assigned programs/projects.
- Maintain and review status of project activities to ensure cost, schedule, and technical commitments are being met.
- Assess project/technical issues and develop corrective actions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements in accordance with customer specifications and design requirements.
- Lead status review sessions with internal management and customer to discuss status of project cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Develop and maintain schedules, risk registers, lessons learned, status reports and other project documentation to document project execution and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- OR 3 or more years of relevant work experience with a Master's degree.
- Prior experience in Program/Project Management.
- Prior experience working with cross-functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Business Management, Field Operations, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project and SAP MRP (or similar) system.
- US Citizenship required.
- The ideal candidate demonstrates a broad skill set that is balanced between interpersonal, business, and technical capabilities.
Nice to have
- Experience with TRIDENT II Launcher Subsystem and Support Equipment.
- Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) processes.
- Experience with Earned Value Management.
- Design and operational experience with Navy Programs.

- Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Compensation
- $98,400.00 - $147,600.00
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
