About the role

  • Job Posting: JR100644 Senior Project Manager (Open) Department: Facilities, PM Position Type: Regular Open Date: 08-29-2025 Close Date: $120,000 - $130,000 Job Description: Organizes and controls project materials, schedules, and costs.
  • Acts as liaison between internal clients and external contractors from point of client conception through project completion.
  • May provide technical expertise in a professional field such as architecture, electrical or mechanical engineering, or construction management - Provides visual inspection and quality control by monitoring construction progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Structural Engineering or Construction or Project Management.
  • Valid Maryland Non-Commercial Class C or equivalent driver's license may be required.

Skills

  • Ability to address multiple tasks, technical issues, and contingencies simultaneously.
  • Skill in acting as a liaison with external agencies, campuses, or other high level contacts.
  • Ability to prioritize ongoing and new projects, to facilitate timely completion of projects and to conduct research and gather information.
  • Consultation and change management skills.
  • Oral/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
