Manage the procurement of the company's insurance coverages, including but not limited to primary and excess Third Party Liability, Property, and Marine coverages.
Manage the relationship with insurance brokers, insurers, third party claims administrators, and other Risk Management vendors.
Manage Risk Management department internal procedures.
Manage the accounting, recordkeeping and reporting of Risk Management costs and expenses.
Manage the preparation, distribution, and tracking of financial responsibility documents.
Support general Risk Management services for the company and its affiliates and subsidiaries (i.e. oral presentations to Oxy operations, written reports to management, etc.).
Provide support for special projects (i.e. acquisitions, divestitures, RFP's, etc.).

Bachelor's degree required.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Associate in Risk Management (ARM) required.

Minimum 6 years of experience in property and casualty insurance (e.g. underwriting, broking and/or risk management). Experience in a Risk Management department highly preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and strong computer literacy.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills.
Takes ownership and responsibility for actions and outcomes, performance and results.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Certified Risk Manager (CRM), RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Energy industry Risk Management experience.
