About the role
- As a Corporate Development Associate, you will be at the center of Scout's most critical initiatives, working directly with the executive team and cross functionally with leaders across the company on high-impact projects.
- Your work will span strategy, finance, partnerships, and execution, helping shape the trajectory of the company.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of the DoW budget to uncover opportunities for growth
Responsibilities
- Support strategy development alongside the executive team
- Support new and existing partnerships, including customer engagement and joint initiatives
- Drive investor relations, including reporting, financial modeling, and fundraising preparation
- Support M&A efforts, including target identification, outreach, due diligence, and execution
Requirements
- 2 to 6 years of experience at a top consulting firm, investment bank, or private equity firm, with a history of outstanding performance
- Undergraduate degree from a highly regarded university
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, coupled with the skill to communicate clearly and influence senior decision-makers
- Demonstrated ability to move seamlessly between quantitative and qualitative work, whether building models, writing strategy memos, or delivering executive-level presentations
- Deep curiosity about defense, AI, and/or autonomy, and motivation to contribute to a mission of consequence
- Highly proactive and action-oriented; thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
- Work on the world's most important frontier, ensuring U.S. and allied dominance in the age of intelligent machines
- Be a core part of a team building the first defense-specific robotic foundation model
- Collaborate with some of the top engineers in autonomy, AI, and national security
- Help define the future of intelligent defense systems

Compensation
- The stated salary range below represents an estimated base pay only and reflects consideration of multiple compensation factors.
- Final salary offers may differ depending on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience or training background, specialized skills, and business needs.
- US Salary Range
- $140,000 - $190,000 USD
