About the role

As a Corporate Development Associate, you will be at the center of Scout's most critical initiatives, working directly with the executive team and cross functionally with leaders across the company on high-impact projects.
Your work will span strategy, finance, partnerships, and execution, helping shape the trajectory of the company.
Conduct deep-dive analysis of the DoW budget to uncover opportunities for growth

Support strategy development alongside the executive team
Support new and existing partnerships, including customer engagement and joint initiatives
Drive investor relations, including reporting, financial modeling, and fundraising preparation
Support M&A efforts, including target identification, outreach, due diligence, and execution

2 to 6 years of experience at a top consulting firm, investment bank, or private equity firm, with a history of outstanding performance
Undergraduate degree from a highly regarded university
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, coupled with the skill to communicate clearly and influence senior decision-makers
Demonstrated ability to move seamlessly between quantitative and qualitative work, whether building models, writing strategy memos, or delivering executive-level presentations
Deep curiosity about defense, AI, and/or autonomy, and motivation to contribute to a mission of consequence
Highly proactive and action-oriented; thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
Work on the world's most important frontier, ensuring U.S. and allied dominance in the age of intelligent machines
Be a core part of a team building the first defense-specific robotic foundation model
Collaborate with some of the top engineers in autonomy, AI, and national security
Help define the future of intelligent defense systems

The stated salary range below represents an estimated base pay only and reflects consideration of multiple compensation factors.
Final salary offers may differ depending on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience or training background, specialized skills, and business needs.
US Salary Range
$140,000 - $190,000 USD
