About the role

  • Job Description Summary This person is tasked with the industrialization management at the plant level, as well as managing the plant's capacity mapping, layout development, automation roadmap and OEE management.

Responsibilities

  • The Plant Industrial Manager is the interface between the central industrial engineering team and the plant leadership team, being responsible to develop the industrial projects at the plant level, as well as supporting day to day operations regarding OEE management and model line/plant deployment.
  • A successful candidate will be able to manage the site requirements, interface with multiple central teams including industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, sourcing, and lean, and to deliver to an industrial timeline and budget targets.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes.
  • Able to influence others. must be able to inform, convince, and persuade other using lean to drive sustainable results.
  • Knowledge of and experience applying lean in transactional and shop floor situations (standardized work, material & information flows, level production and pull systems).
