Tessera is seeking a n experienced and detail-oriented Roofer.
The Roofer operates equipment associated with the above processes with tar kettles, roof sweepers, cutting machines, torch equipment, standard measuring and testing equipment, power tools and associated roofer hand tools.

The Roofer Performs the roofing duties necessary to maintain industrial building roofs and new installations of various types and systems.

Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
Studies of blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber of fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
Highschool Diploma/GED is required.
Minimum of 3 years of roofing experience.
Carlisle Applicator Certification preferred / must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Must be familiar with the products and applications associated with the different types of roofing materials
Must be able to work at heights.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
