About the role

  • This position will ensure overall adherence to the quality standards and will work in conjunction with production supervisors to improve process controls and product quality.
  • You will add value by performing the follo wing duties including but not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, interpret, and act on quality data including HACCP, Net Weights, and EQA results to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Share findings with production supervision and support action plans to maintain and improve quality standards
  • Collaborate with supervisors, QA technicians, and management to ensure quality systems are effectively implemented
  • Support implementation and auditing of new quality programs and lead end-of-shift QA review meetings to discuss issues and root cause analysis
  • Maintain responsibility for food safety, food defense, and product quality while performing other assigned duties

Requirements

  • 3 -5 years technical related experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (word, excel, and power point)

Skills

  • Audit production processes to ensure testing, quality checks, and programs are consistently followed across the shift
  • Train employees on quality procedures including SPC, HACCP, AIB, charting, testing, and housekeeping standards
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
