About the role

  • Serves as the primary operational coordinator for faculty affairs initiatives within the Department of Pediatrics at Nationwide Children's Hospital and The Ohio State University.
  • Coordinate faculty affairs programs and operations for the Department of Pediatrics by supporting processes and initiatives related to faculty development, academic advancement, professional engagement, and faculty lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with faculty, departmental leadership, the CFD, and institutional stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives, improve processes, and advance faculty development goals.

Skills

  • Excellent computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, WebEx, and Zoom.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project planning, and time management skills.
  • Considerable experience in program planning and administration, required.
  • Considerable experience with and knowledge of academic appointment, promotion, and tenure processes, preferred.
  • Experience organizing and managing program materials, preferred.

Compensation
