About the role

  • Your Opportunity Schwab Advisor Services, a division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is the leading provider of custody, trading, technology and practice management to registered independent advisory firms (RIAs).
  • It provides access to sophisticated wealth-management services that help advisors attract and retain affluent clients, as well as profitably grow, compete and succeed in their business efforts.
  • These programs are delivered by a nationwide team of experienced consultants who work closely with advisors and their Schwab relationship managers to understand the firm's challenges and areas of opportunity and then map a path forward.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of thought leadership initiatives, establishing and maintaining a leadership voice in the industry on practice management issues relevant to independent advisory firms.
  • Design and implement scalable, repeatable programs and processes that ensure quality and alignment across teams, and business units.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to reach advisors through webcasts, event presentations, interactive workshops, and consulting engagements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, leadership, and external partners to develop points of view and communicate the BCE position to the marketplace.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience Highly skilled writer capable of authoring original whitepapers, articles, and other assets that effectively communicate BCE's ideas and points of view, as well as best next steps, in a compelling manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, synthesize, and translate diverse information sources (client perspectives, executive insights, industry trends, subject matter experts, analytics) to develop actionable insights and actionable thought leadership content.
  • Ability to conduct research and interviews to help develop a point of view that can be refined and solidified by working with the BCE team and senior leaders.
  • A 'can-do', results-oriented approach to business, and able to deliver high-quality work.
  • Highly motivated, intellectually curious individual with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.

  • Preferred Competencies: Experience serving the financial services industry
