Responsibilities
- They will be responsible for developing and enhancing community relationships with ONWA services and membership.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Social Sciences, or business service along with 3-5 years' experience in a community setting.
- Experience coordinating workshops and/or conferences.
- Experience with resource development and implementation.
- Knowledge of train the trainer model.
- Knowledge of Indigenous Culture, Tradition, and Aboriginal Community.
- Knowledge and understanding of current issues affecting Aboriginal women and their families.
- Ability to speak an Indigenous language an asset.
- Experience with financial management.
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction and be able to improve performance through management feedback.
- Highly motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to network with strong partnership building skills.
- Awareness of Community Resources Provincially.
- Excellent administrative/coordination duties.
- Excellent written, oral and communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively.
Skills
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
Compensation
- The full salary range for this role is $56,400 - $69,405 ONWA conducts annual performance reviews, and employees may be eligible for salary adjustments based on performance outcomes and available funding.
