About the role

  • The CNC Operator B operates assigned machines CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineered drawing.
  • This effort includes, but is not limited to, conducting basic machine changeovers, accurately completing quality control documentation and inspection sheet.
  • This individual works with other machine operators and management to ensure good manufacturing practices, inspection techniques, SOPs, and safety regulations every day.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision
  • well organized and possesses the ability to multi-task
  • Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
  • Able to perform visual inspection with the use of a microscope on small parts
