Requirements

  • Knowledge of Master Specification editing and software such as eSPECS, BIM software, and CTC Revit Add In Tools
  • Proficiency of Smart Engineering Design Assist (SET) Tools within Revit for electrical calculations, coordination,, etc.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to have

  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and contribute to research and innovation efforts within IMEG
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work and identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with electrical systems
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required
  • 5 years of experience minimum required, 6 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
  • Proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
  • Proficient with industry standard engineering software and tools including lighting photometric calculation software such as AGI, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting, or other
  • energy code compliance and software such as ComCheck
