Lead and oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance for a portfolio of complex real estate clients, including partnerships, corporations, LLCs, and REITs, serving as the primary engagement and client contact.
Oversee and perform high-level review of partnership tax returns (Forms 1065), K-1s, and related supporting schedules, ensuring technical accuracy and consistency across engagements.
Manage and oversee engagement budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and workflow across multiple concurrent engagements to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
Lead, mentor, and develop Managers and junior team members
provide performance feedback, support career development, and serve as a technical and leadership resource within the Real Estate Tax group.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point while partnering closely with Partners on engagement strategy and client service.

Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Masters, Law or advanced degree desirable.
8+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, with significant specialization in real estate.
Deep technical knowledge of partnership taxation and real estate-specific tax regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters to clients.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Deals with technical issues comfortably and can complete work at a high level of proficiency.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned real estate tax professional with deep technical expertise, strong leadership presence, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.
Education:
CPA required.
Demonstrated experience leading complex real estate tax engagements and managing client relationships.
Proven ability to manage and develop Managers and teams.

Competitive annual salary in the range of $160,000 to $220,000 based on individual's experience level.
