Responsibilities

  • You will own the full lifecycle of a large, complex program - from scoping and planning through implementation, closeout, and handoff - ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards across all workstreams.
  • You will build and maintain a comprehensive program plan spanning multiple interdependent workstreams, deliverables, milestones, and resource assignments aligned to business objectives and PMO (Project Management Office) standards.
  • You will own program-level budget forecasting, tracking, and financial reporting across the full scope of the program.
  • You will proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams; escalate where appropriate and drive timely resolution.
  • You will conduct assurance reviews and manage program closeout, including documentation, lessons learned, and transition to business as usual.
  • You will develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans across a complex, matrixed organization spanning Europe and global reference lab operations - building strong relationships with regional business leaders, lab operations teams, technology partners, and others.
  • You will lead program meetings and communications across all workstreams, driving clear decision-making, action items follow-through, and effective escalation.
  • You will prepare and deliver regular status updates, executive-level review reports, and presentations tailored to a range of audiences, from workstream teams to senior leadership.
  • You will anticipate and balance competing stakeholder needs across a large, multi-region program; manage expectations with transparency and confidence.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing program-level budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Comfortable partnering with agile delivery teams and working with sprint/release cadences, in addition to more traditional program structures.
  • Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • proficiency in program management and collaboration software (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Able to travel up to 10% as needed.
  • Prioritize and plan work across a large, complex program
  • stays focused under change and looks ahead to secure resources needed to meet commitments.

Compensation

  • Base annual salary range commensurate with experience.
  • 25 days holidays per year

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, laboratory operations, or diagnostics environments strongly preferred.
