About the role
- The HR Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for the effective administration, support, and optimization of the organization's Human Capital Management (HCM) system and other HR Information Systems.
- This role ensures that our systems are configured, maintained, and leveraged to support HR operations, reporting, compliance and overall business goals.
- The HR Systems Analyst works within an HRDS team and partners closely with HR, IT, payroll, benefits, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track HR system related service and/or product enhancement requests and incidents through Jira (or other ticketing system) ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders in accordance with our operating guidelines
- Partner with HR and business teams to identify process improvements and system enhancements
- Maintain data integrity through regular audits, testing, and system updates
- Document processes, provide training materials, and host user training sessions for stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT or vendors on system upgrades/releases, patches, and implementations
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Workday systems configuration in 1 or more Workday modules
- Familiarity with ticket management tools such as Jira or Service Now
- Experience, or ability to adapt and learn, in participating in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and planning initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and intermediate level with Excel
- Understanding of data governance, operating guidelines, and quality engineering best practices
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to lead through the full software delivery lifecycle
- Mentoring of other team members to share knowledge and grow skills
- Ability to manage work through ticket management systems
- Data analysis and critical thinking
- Strong technical aptitude and learning agility
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive HR information
Compensation
- 90,000/90 000 - 140,000/140 000
