About the role
- This vacancy is for a Executive Protection Agent in the Office of the Secretary within the Department of Commerce.

Requirements
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations e.g., professional
- knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
- Selectees may be required to complete division-specific basic agent training successfully.
- You must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-9 (or equivalent pay band) level in the Federal service or comparable experience in the private sector or local or state government.
- You must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-11 (or equivalent pay band) level in the Federal service or comparable experience in the private sector or local or state government.
- You must possess one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-12 (or equivalent pay band) level in the Federal service or comparable experience in the private sector or local or state government.
- The maximum entry age for this position shall not exceed age 37, unless you have sufficient prior Federal civilian law enforcement experience or you are a preference eligible veteran.
- If you are a preference-eligible veteran, you may be eligible for this position after your 37th birthday.
- If you have an approved age waiver, please submit that with your application.
Compensation
- $88k-$163k
