  • GENERAL FUNCTION: The Credit Analyst is primarily responsible for completing the daily duties of underwriting and monitoring credit while performing analytical activities and identifying risks or issues as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bancorp credit policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Perform Borrowing Entity PD Ratings and Obligation LGD Ratings.
  • May support special projects or ad hoc analysis as assigned by management
  • Sound Financial and risk analysis understanding, including the ability to develop financial models
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining close attention to detail.

Requirements

  • The Credit Analyst is knowledgeable on financial and risk analysis and demonstrates proficiency in financial modeling.
  • The Credit Analyst is expected to build proficiency in underwriting, developing the ability to complete the underwriting process from beginning to end with limited oversight on increasingly complex credits.
  • Identify and determine monitoring analysis activities required
  • Responsible for understanding and evaluating completed spreads to determine necessary edits working in collaboration with the CCU team works to identify and resolve required edits or corrections

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business ( e.g. Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting)
  • 2+ years of Commercial Banking experience.
  • Extensive K nowledge of banking products and services
  • Knowledge of corporate business structure and legal documents
  • General knowledge of U.S. government and regulation
  • Proficiency in internal banking applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill s
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office software
