About the role

  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • The core of our business is working with patients.
  • It is most likely that you will come in contact with personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI) of patients living with rare and chronic illnesses.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to standard processes, demonstrate strong communication skills, and maintain excellent attention to detail
  • Develop strong partnerships with your internal team and other departments
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with other departments related to all recruitment engagement, training and performance evaluation
  • Analyze internal utilization needs to develop new initiatives or modify and improve existing initiatives in partnership with the Recruitment team to meet client objectives
  • Lead Identification:
  • Ability to lead a team in pursuing multiple projects and initiatives
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively communicate and collaborate in a team environment

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of common social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, X and Pinterest
  • Ability to adapt to new electronic, technological and social medial tools that increase efficiency, accuracy and relevancy
  • Ability to effectively listen and respond accordingly
  • Strong communication skills, online media skills and ability to quickly connect with individuals for content and recruitment purposes
  • The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist must be able to perform the following essential duties and functions:

Skills

  • Working with patients requires candidates to exercise discretion and empathy, as patients are living with chronic and rare conditions.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.
  • Candidates will have the ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Candidates will have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral, diagram or schedule forms.
  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
  • In some instances, a passport may be necessary.
