Responsibilities
- Manages the Payroll Services Outlook inbox, serving as the primary point of coordination for payroll-related inquiries and requests. Delegates tasks to appropriate team members as needed.
- Leads the bi-weekly hourly payroll process in Dayforce with minimal supervision, including, but not limited to, maintenance, adjustments, timecards, paralegal overtime, staff account reimbursements, and general ledger posting.
- Performs monthly accounting functions, such as creating OT reports, follows up on stale payroll checks, and prepares other ad hoc reports requested by other departments.
- Cross trains in all aspects of payroll processing functions to ensure operational continuity and provide backup support as needed.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of the payroll process and payroll tax laws.
- One to two years of payroll experience required.
- Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Must be able to perform essential duties with time constraints and interruptions.

- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and follow the instruction effectively from a diverse group of attorneys, administrators, and staff and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
- Work occasionally requires a high level of mental effort when performing essential duties. Must be able to perform essential duties with time constraints and interruptions.
- Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.

Nice to have
- Prior experience utilizing Dayforce payroll system is preferred.
Compensation
- Leads the semi-monthly salary payroll process in Dayforce with minimal supervision, including, but not limited to, maintenance, adjustments, personal account reimbursements, and general ledger posting.
