About the role
- Responsible for overseeing the identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of risks that could potentially affect the organization.
- This role involves leading risk management activities to ensure that risks across all areas of Sentara are properly managed.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, communicate, evaluate and implement Sentara's Clinical Risk Management program
- Lead efforts in identifying and evaluating various types of risks, including financial, operational, compliance and reputational
- Lead the response to risk-related incidents
- Lead and mentor risk management professionals
- Works closely with senior leadership to develop risk management strategies and provide insights into risk mitigation activities to safeguard the company's assets, reputation, and operations.

- Bachelors Degree (Required)
Compensation
