Requirements
- Are you motivated by creating reliable, high-quality software while growing your technical expertise alongside a talented team?
- You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering production applications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and monitoring
- Willingness to learn about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in a business domain/problem space
- Ability to communicate effectively
Nice to have
- Experience with Java or Kotlin
- Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure
- Experience with Docker or containerization technologies
- Understanding of accounting or investment management workflows
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
- Experience working with data modeling or caching strategies
- Interest in AI-assisted software development tools and practices
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
Skills
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements discussions, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Improve application performance, observability, and operational reliability
- Learn and apply AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to improve development efficiency and software quality

Compensation
- The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.
- The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is: $168,000-$210,000.
- Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
- In addition to the base salary, Ridgeline employees can participate in our Company Stock Plan subject to the applicable Stock Option Agreement.
- $153,000-$191,000.
