Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead the development and testing of unique products, materials, and technologies for military, law enforcement, and commercial applications
  • Propose, develop, initiate and manage relevant IRAD efforts within the company
  • Provide support throughout the Bid and Proposal process
  • Analyze and interpret experimental test data for design
  • Maintain records pertinent to the job
  • Collaborate with the CEO, Director of Engineering, Tech Fellows, and select RMSL employees to identify key business areas to maintain and/or grow
  • Within respective business areas, develop a plan to cultivate lasting relationships with key companies and/or individuals
  • Solicit assistance from Team Leads and other Team Members to successfully complete specific project requirements.
  • Document safe handling practices and test procedures/results
  • Collaborate to define, build and communicate RMSL's capabilities to meet business needs and opportunities

Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • must have the ability to see near and far and work with a computer monitor
  • Required to bend, sit, stand and lift to perform job effectively
  • Must be able to perform effectively in a test facility/range environment
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
  • BS + 4yrs in Mechanical Engineering (or similar demonstrated experience)

  • Must be able to start within 2-3 weeks of offer.

  • Familiarity with Government contracting requirements
  • Experience with various firearms

  • Military or law enforcement background.
  • Long range shooting experience (sniper training, infantry, hunting etc.).
