Responsibilities
- Effectively lead the development and testing of unique products, materials, and technologies for military, law enforcement, and commercial applications
- Propose, develop, initiate and manage relevant IRAD efforts within the company
- Provide support throughout the Bid and Proposal process
- Analyze and interpret experimental test data for design
- Maintain records pertinent to the job
- Collaborate with the CEO, Director of Engineering, Tech Fellows, and select RMSL employees to identify key business areas to maintain and/or grow
- Within respective business areas, develop a plan to cultivate lasting relationships with key companies and/or individuals
- Solicit assistance from Team Leads and other Team Members to successfully complete specific project requirements.
- Document safe handling practices and test procedures/results
- Collaborate to define, build and communicate RMSL's capabilities to meet business needs and opportunities
Requirements
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- must have the ability to see near and far and work with a computer monitor
- Required to bend, sit, stand and lift to perform job effectively
- Must be able to perform effectively in a test facility/range environment
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- BS + 4yrs in Mechanical Engineering (or similar demonstrated experience)

- Must be able to start within 2-3 weeks of offer.

- Familiarity with Government contracting requirements
- Experience with various firearms

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Demonstrated customer management
- A strong desire for continued learning and continuous improvement
- Military or law enforcement background.
- Long range shooting experience (sniper training, infantry, hunting etc.).
