About the role

  • In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and field operation of our autonomous delivery robots.
  • This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working across mechanical and electrical systems, and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge robotics technology in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
  • The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of robot components and subsystems
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventive service on the robot fleet
  • Document maintenance activities and service findings
  • Field operations support
  • Support deployment, testing, and validation of autonomous delivery robots in real-world environments

Requirements

  • Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, including measuring equipment
  • Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience installing and integrating custom electronic modules
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more
  • Adaptable, proactive mindset with the ability to handle a variety of technical tasks

Nice to have

  • Experience in automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, or related industries
  • Experience working with electric vehicles (EVs)
  • Soldering and wire crimping experience
  • General computer proficiency and familiarity with diagnostic tools
  • Experience supporting robotics, autonomous systems, or other advanced technologies
