About the role
- In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and field operation of our autonomous delivery robots.
- This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working across mechanical and electrical systems, and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge robotics technology in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
- The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of robot components and subsystems
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive service on the robot fleet
- Document maintenance activities and service findings
- Field operations support
- Support deployment, testing, and validation of autonomous delivery robots in real-world environments
Requirements
- Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, including measuring equipment
- Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation
- Experience installing and integrating custom electronic modules
- Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more
- Adaptable, proactive mindset with the ability to handle a variety of technical tasks
Nice to have
- Experience in automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, or related industries
- Experience working with electric vehicles (EVs)
- Soldering and wire crimping experience
- General computer proficiency and familiarity with diagnostic tools
- Experience supporting robotics, autonomous systems, or other advanced technologies
