About the role

  • Definition & Purpose Under the supervision of the Assistant Director—Recreational Programs and Facility Operations, the Intermittent Frontline Services Assistant—PEAC is responsible for setting the tone for the member experience by maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment in the PEAC.   • behave with integrity while accurately and efficiently performing the functions of the job. The role is responsible for equipment check-out, equipment reservations, check-in for fitness class reservations, lost & found, towel service sales, towel exchange, towel laundry duties, sales transactions for various resale items, tracking and processing late &

  • This position is based at the Cal Poly Maritime Academy on the Cal Poly Solano Campus in Vallejo, CA.
  • Experience with cash handling and accounting functions.
  • Ability to stay focused while working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Display a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to initiate, establish, and foster communication and teamwork by maintaining a positive, cooperative, productive work atmosphere.

Compensation

  • $16.90 per hour - $16.90 per hour Benefits Social Security (FICA) Unemployment Insurance Workers Compensation Insurance Sick Leave **Intermittent employees may not work more than 1,000 hours during any fiscal year (7/1-6/30) and are hired on an "as needed" basis only.
