About the role
- The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in process architecture within commercial property insurance and a proven track record of driving process transformation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement best-in-class business processes for all key property insurance functions (underwriting, policy servicing, claims, loss control, etc.).
- Develop detailed process models, workflows, procedures, RACI matrices, and documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, project managers, and IT to ensure process design supports strategic goals and system capabilities.
- Lead process mapping and process redesign workshops with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technology platforms or tools, ensuring alignment with process requirements.
- Advise on process risk, compliance, and internal control issues, ensuring all process designs meet regulatory and audit requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in process architecture, business process management (BPM), operations, or consulting, with extensive background in commercial property insurance (property side experience required).
- Hands-on experience with process documentation tools
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong understanding of property insurance products, systems, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- proven experience leading workshops or cross-functional meetings.
- Ability to work effectively with both executive stakeholders and operational teams.
