Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and document system level architecture design of the AC service products.
  • Create system level design documentation.
  • Create test plans and reports to validate design concepts.
  • Team leadership - lead the project team to be creative, accurate, detailed, and professional.
  • Perform design analysis and FMEA's on system designs to assure form, fit, function, and safety.
  • Maintain project documentation, i.e. design reviews, FMEAs, design specifications, wiring diagrams, test plans, etc.
  • Represent the Design Engineering Team with professionalism and integrity when communicating with the Customer, Cross Functional Teams and the entire organization.
  • Proven design skills, utilizing knowledge of similar product.
  • This position is responsible for the system level design of the ACS (Air-Conditioning Service) products.
  • The candidate will work closely with a cross functional team to deliver products on-time, on-spec, and on-budget.

Requirements

  • Coordinate testing and documentation required to achieve and maintain product certifications (UL, CE, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Four year Engineering degree, BSEE preferred
  • 3+ years related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in PC skills
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, etc), CAD experience (Solidworks) preferred, Labview preferred.
  • Previous experience with product certifications (UL) preferred.

Compensation

  • $100k-$116k

  • The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $99,900 - $116,000.
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
