About the role

  • The ASC Chief Executive Officer (ASC CEO) is the senior-most leader for the ambulatory surgery center, with full accountability for operational excellence, financial performance, clinical quality, and physician partnership strength.
  • This role goes beyond traditional facility administration.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Financial & Operational Performance
  • Own full P&L responsibility and deliver on budgeted EBITDA targets
  • Drive case volume growth through strategic scheduling, block optimization, and surgeon alignment
  • Maintain labor efficiency and staffing discipline aligned with net revenue targets
  • Maintain full compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce clinical errors and adverse events
  • Build and Sustain Strong Physician Partnerships
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for physician partners and key stakeholders
  • Drive physician engagement that supports service line growth and case volume expansion
  • Partner with Compass leadership to attract, onboard, and retain new physician partners

Compensation
