About the role
- The Acquisitions Associate will play a key role in driving Faropoint's acquisition process across Florida markets.
Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing & Broker Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, and market participants to generate on-market and off-market acquisition opportunities across Florida markets.
- Pipeline Management: Track and manage an active deal pipeline across multiple markets and strategies, ensuring disciplined follow-up, prioritization, and reporting on deal flow activity.
- Underwriting & Financial Analysis: Perform detailed underwriting of potential acquisition opportunities, including cash flow modeling, return analysis, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment.
- Due Diligence: Coordinate and manage the due diligence process on prospective acquisitions, including site visits, review of legal documents, and management of third-party consultants (environmental, engineering, title, legal).

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, commercial real estate, or a related institutional role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for research, analysis, and workflow automation is a plus.
