About the role
- This position is responsible for leading and facilitating the implementation of global and site-specific quality initiatives and their continual improvements.
- Responsible for the day-to-day site quality engineering activities.
- Job Description: Duties - Follow and abide by all safety standards and expectations. - Monitor and review process activities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for and/or participate in Material Review Board (MRB) and Design Review Board.
- Plan and implement inspection instruction sheets and assist Inspectors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager.

Nice to have
- AS or BS in Industrial or Materials Engineering preferred but not required.
Skills
- Proficient in analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance and quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes, tools, and techniques.
- Proficient in quality system development, automotive quality systems/technical specifications
- Must possess management system auditing and problem-solving skills and experience in customer concern management is essential.
- Must be computer efficient MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Access
- Working knowledge of statistical techniques, data analysis and root cause tools
- Self-directed goal-oriented individual possessing excellent communication, presentation, and organization, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Materials or Manufacturing Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
