About the role
- C.H. Robinson is looking for a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to be based on-site at our warehouse in Plainfield, Indianapolis.
- In this role, you will act as the key link between inventory data and physical operations, ensuring that products are accurately managed and available to meet customer demand.
- As the first Inventory Analyst in this function, you will play a critical role in improving inventory visibility, supporting operational execution, and helping the business meet its service commitments.
Responsibilities
- Work across multiple systems to track inventory movements and maintain data integrity
- Collaborate closely with warehouse operations, transportation teams, and internal stakeholders to support execution
- Support continuous improvement of inventory processes and workflows

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field
- Experience in food distribution, warehouse operations, or similar high-volume supply chain environments
- Experience working with inventory or warehouse management systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions with incomplete information
- This is a fast-paced, highly operational role requiring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.

Compensation
