About the role

  • In this role, you will serve as a key electrical engineering resource supporting production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • You will be responsible for improving system reliability, leading electrical projects from concept through commissioning, and ensuring electrical systems are safely integrated into manufacturing processes.
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques, including root cause analysis, to resolve recurring issues

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through commissioning, including scope development, design, procurement, and execution
  • Partner with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement sustainable solutions
  • Design and implement process improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and operational performance
  • Develop and support programs for new and existing electrical systems, including upgrades to equipment and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor others to strengthen technical capability within the plant
  • You will also partner cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues, implement long-term solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives, motors, and power distribution systems
  • Experience managing or supporting electrical projects
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Nice to have

  • Approximately 2+ years of relevant engineering experience or strong internship/co-op experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with root cause problem solving methodologies
  • Experience leading capital or improvement projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
