About the role
- WSC is a premier engineering, hydrogeology, construction management, and communications consulting firm that focuses exclusively on water.

- The candidate may reside in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, or Ventura but will primarily work at our Montecito job site, requiring daily travel.
Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of construction activities, inspections, and any deviations from approved plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance measures to ensure that materials, workmanship, and construction processes meet contract requirements.
- Our team of expert engineers and communicators is recognized for delivering successful planning, design, program management, construction management, and energy solutions for municipalities, public and private utilities, special districts, energy providers and more throughout California and the Pacific Northwest.

Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, construction management, or inspection, with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications.
- This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to meet company and insurance provider requirements for driving eligibility.
- Provide regular updates to project managers, engineers, and other staff as required.
- A passion for water, with an emphasis on creating multi-benefit solutions for communities and the environment.
- Deep knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure design, construction methods, equipment, materials, and applicable code requirements in one or more disciplines, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- OSHA training and ISO certifications preferred.
Compensation
- This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position, estimated at 40 hours per week.
- The pay range is $38.00 to $65.00 per hour and may be more or less depending on experience.
