About the role

  • Vermeer Southeast is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist III to join our team at our Orlando location.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to gather, organize, and interpret information to prepare reports and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and make accurate corrections.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to prepare clear and professional correspondence.
  • Mathematical Skills Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, interest, commissions, and other financial figures.
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
  • Ability to apply basic algebra and mathematical reasoning to solve routine business problems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills Ability to interpret and carry out written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
  • Ability to evaluate multiple variables and make informed decisions within established policies and procedures.
  • Associate degree (A.A.). or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school

Skills

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of standard receivable policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to utilize an automated accounting system.
  • Basic data entry and/or word processing skills.
  • Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
