About the role
- Virtual Supervising Psychiatrist providing supervisory oversight to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in outpatient clinic setting for Ascends service lines and any additional service lines as determined.
Requirements
- Must be board-certified
- Ability to provide supervision remotely
- Prolonged Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours.
- Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours.
- Compensation: Must be able to allocate a minimum of 12 hours per month for scheduled meetings and as-needed case reviews.
- Active, unrestricted California MD or DO license in good standing
Nice to have
- Available for case reviews as necessary
- Available to meet with the team once per month
- Previous experience in general psychiatry preferred
Skills

Compensation
- Must be able to allocate a minimum of 12 hours per month for scheduled meetings and as-needed case reviews.
- 1-3: $2,000/month
- 4-6: $3,000/month
- 7-8: $4,000/month.
- Compensation is determined by the total number of assigned APPs.
- The current SP is slated to be assigned 5 APPs at the commencement of services.
