About the role

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis Develop and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Partner with department leaders to create budgets, track performance, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Invoicing and Provider Payment Management Own and manage AI workflows for end-to-end invoicing workflows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all customer billing processes.
  • Manage and optimize provider network payment processes, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements while monitoring costs and contract compliance.
  • Track and reconcile outstanding invoices and payments to maintain healthy cash flow and ensure transparency.
  • Operational Excellence Drive month-end and quarter-end reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools to manage invoicing and payments effectively.
  • Strategic Decision Support Perform scenario analyses and what-if modeling to support pricing strategies, investment decisions, and new business opportunities.
  • Insights and Reporting Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate financial performance and key metrics to stakeholders using Power BI.
  • Accounting Foundation: You maintain a firm grasp of GAAP and standard reporting practices.

Requirements

  • You are a Power BI expert with advanced Excel modeling and SQL skills.
  • You have hands-on experience with QuickBooks, AI-driven workflow automation, and systems that facilitate complex billing and payment operations.
  • You have a deep understanding of SaaS financial structures and subscription pricing.
  • You bring practical experience in overseeing reconciliation processes and optimizing payment workflows and billing systems.
  • You have a proven ability to distill intricate data sets into strategic insights and tangible operational improvements.
  • Provide invoices and required reporting for grants and other specialty programs.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are a Power BI expert with advanced Excel modeling and SQL skills.
  • Domain Knowledge: You have a deep understanding of SaaS financial structures and subscription pricing.
  • Analytical Mindset: You have a proven ability to distill intricate data sets into strategic insights and tangible operational improvements.
  • Agility: You are comfortable navigating the ambiguity and speed of a rapidly evolving startup landscape.

Nice to have

  • While not mandatory, a CPA or CFA designation is preferred.
