About the role
- This role is responsible for shaping the creative vision, narrative, and guest experience across multiple attractions and lands.
Responsibilities
- The Creative Director works in close collaboration with IP stakeholders, narrative teams, and cross-disciplinary design and production teams to ensure creative alignment and excellence from concept through execution.
- The Creative Director will lead the development of guest facing attractions, experiences and environments within lands of the theme park.
- Lead the development of attraction narratives in collaboration with IP holders and internal narrative teams.
- Ensure all story elements align with brand guidelines and deliver compelling guest experiences.
- Maintain awareness of all creative assets and current design issues across assigned lands and attractions.
- Collaborate with illustrators and concept artists to define the visual tone of each attraction or land.
- Guide the creative development of marquee and interior signage to support storytelling and guest navigation.
- Attraction & Experience Design Oversight
- Assign and manage designers to ensure alignment with the overall creative strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in themed entertainment, attraction design, or related creative industries.
- Proven track record of leading creative development for large-scale themed environments or attractions.
- Proficiency in visual development tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Unreal Engine, Bluebeam).
