About the role
- The candidate must reside within the continental US.
- Integrate AI and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities using platforms and APIs such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Claude.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using technologies such as Java, Java EE, Java 17, Spring, Node.js/TypeScript, React, Angular, Python, Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Develop responsive user interfaces with a focus on performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Build and maintain server-side applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
- Design and implement data solutions using relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Develop event-driven architectures and cloud-native applications to support enterprise-scale systems.
- Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, technical design discussions, development, testing, and deployments.
- Develop automated tests and support quality assurance efforts using tools such as Cypress and Playwright.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Strong experience with front-end frameworks such as ReactJS and/or Angular.
- Hands-on experience with backend development using Java, Spring, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python frameworks.
- Experience integrating AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI APIs, into production systems.
- Experience with AWS cloud-native services such as Aurora, ECS, SQS, S3, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Experience designing AI-enabled, data-intensive, or highly scalable systems.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
- Selected candidates will be required to complete fingerprinting at a government facility and undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.
Nice to have
- Experience with the VA or other Government agencies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Experience working with AI/ML platforms, enterprise AI solutions, or generative AI technologies.
- Ability to obtain government clearance.
Skills
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend tools, frameworks, and architectures to improve application capabilities.
