About the role
- Its US-based affiliate, AdvancedDx Biological Laboratory USA Inc., is seeking 4 commercially driven professionals to grow adoption of qPCR and Next‑Generation Sequencing (NGS) solutions in microbiology and infectious disease markets.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition for qPCR and NGS‑based microbiology solutions
- Own and manage the sales pipeline from lead qualification through deal closure
- Lead high‑level scientific and commercial discussions
- Identify and develop new market segments, strategic partnerships, and distribution opportunities
- Support tender responses, contracting discussions, and pricing strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Genomics, or related field
- 3-8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within:
- Proven experience managing complex, long sales cycles
- Strong ability to communicate with both scientific and executive stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience selling:
- NGS/qPCR/PCR instruments, assays, kits, or sequencing services
- Microbiology, pathogen surveillance, or molecular testing
- MBA or commercial training is a plus, but scientific credibility is essential
- Rigorous and organized
- With good communication skills
- Able to interact with people with different scientific background
- Travel Expectations
Compensation
- Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets
