About the role
- The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic mammograms by the application of ionizing radiation to produce quality radiographs as would be required under a variety of conditions. Job Relationships Reports to the Diagnostic Imaging Operations Manager Principal Responsibilities - Must have one-month on-the-job training mammography.
- - Produce quality mammograms and be able to perform requests for special views. - Prepare files for radiologist to read. - Obtain outside previous or comparison exams. - Obtain complete history from patients. - Keep log of all patients. - Good knowledge of breast anatomy. - Help out in the main department when time allows. - Must be able to adapt to
