Responsibilities
- Lead the full sales cycle for assigned plastics accounts, including prospecting, technical discussions, value‑based selling, negotiations and closing.
- Partner closely with Technical Service, R&D and Product Management to translate customer needs into targeted technical and commercial solutions. [
- Drive strong commercial execution through accurate forecasting, CRM management, pricing strategy and cross‑functional alignment with Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service. [
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management or technical sales within chemicals, plastics additives, polymer science or materials engineering.
- Strong understanding of the plastics value chain, including compounding, masterbatch, and processing technologies (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding).
- Excellent communication, negotiation and business planning skills, with CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Dynamics or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering or related field preferred.
Compensation
- The expected salary range for this role is 97,000-136,00k but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job‑related, non‑discriminato
