This position is directly responsible for the Safety and Gross Margin profitability of the Chemical, Thermal, and Mechanical Refining Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Implements 5S principles and ensures all operations conform to the company's safety and quality policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
Conducts fact-based analysis using lean techniques to create value and manage to a future state that eliminates waste and drives continuous process improvement.
Mentors and develops direct reports and entire operations team.
Actively participates with, encourages, and leads all members to improved levels of work ethic, morale, and productivity while meeting or achieving internal and external customer expectations.
Establishes goals, sets priorities and coordinates all related activities within the operation to ensure drive and focus towards meeting or exceeding established common business goals and financial objectives.
Monitors, reviews, and improves manufacturing and quality related activities and drives corrective and preventative actions using Management by Fact or 8 step problem solving.
Lead and support the development of employees and succession planning activities in area of responsibility.
Manage the development of, and monitor the execution of, the manufacturing schedule and capacity plan for production.
Lead Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing efforts and participate in the Gemba team to assure positive culture.

Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of study with 5-7 years' experience with leadership skills in a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience.

$101,400.00 - $162,000.00
Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
