include design, space planning, layout, and specifications of commercial office furniture and systems products and architectural walls.
Consult with sales team on the layout, design and space planning of furniture specifications for client offices.
Perform programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, including as-built drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for specification and installation.
Accurately create quotes for client's approval.
Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these needs.
Coordinate, develop, and review proposed project designs and construction plans.
Review job site in order to perform accurate measurements.
Validate plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect & Design (A&D) drawing sets.
Develop project specifications, double check specifications against plans, verify specifications against plans, assure specifications are ready for order entry (CET/SIF file), and manage changes and revisions.

Job Skills Required:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Bachelor's degree in design or architecture from 4-year college or university required.
Interior Design degree from an accredited university preferred.
Minimum three years professional experience in the office furniture/interiors or related field
Knowledge of systems furniture and experience in customer interaction.
Three to five years' experience with furniture product knowledge, furniture design and furniture specification software. knowledge of Configura CET highly preferred.

Three to five years furniture dealership experience required
Computer literate (AutoCAD, Revit, Configura CET, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Photoshop and SketchUp).
Configura CET experience highly preferred.
Knowledge and experience in designing and specifying demountable architectural wall products and modular casework highly preferred.
Working knowledge of applicable building codes, ADA regulations.
Energetics and strong customer service skills with a desire to go above & beyond to assist others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented, organized and ability to work with mathematical concepts.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize & initiate action in a timely manner.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and to work with minimum supervision.
