About the role

  • Join us in tackling healthcare for rural America.
  • This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 20-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Establish audit standards and deliver clear, case-based feedback
  • Provide real-time clinical support and guidance, including visit shadowing.
  • Support quality gap closure and appropriate CAP assessments

Requirements

  • Must be licensed in Michigan
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in a value-based care setting, and demonstrated clinical leadership responsibility
  • Experience overseeing providers with strong documentation, CDI, and utilization management expertise.
  • Comfort serving as the clinical authority in payor, audit, and escalation scenarios.
  • MD or DO with an active medical license; board certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or another primary care specialty strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Occasional travel to meet with providers across the region

Compensation

  • Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Homeward Health.
  • This role is eligible for an annual bonus, stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
  • The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $225,000, based on a reduced (part-time) schedule.
