About the role
- The Defense Sector at Leidos has a current job opportunity for a DevOps Engineer supporting the C4ISR Solutions Operation.
- The DevOps Engineer will guide the definition, implementation, and delivery of programs focused on modernizing a variety of software systems.
- The selected candidate will leverage their skills in infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and software deployment across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing input and expertise to senior engineers to maintain alignments with best practices and recommend system improvements while overseeing the automated deployment, roll-back, and monitoring of applications into software development, test, and production environment.
- Develop automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 1+ years of experience.
- Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Knowledge and understanding of DevOps trends and technologies.
- Experience with container technologies, such as Docker or Podman, and container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX command line.
- Requires an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS.
Nice to have
- US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance.
- Professional cybersecurity certification such as Security+, or similar.
- Experience with Kubernetes application deployment/management tools such as Helm or Kustomize.
- Experience working with Agile software development teams and implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Experience with USSTRATCOM ISPAN domain.

Compensation
- Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00
- The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Visa & Work Authorization
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within 180 days of your start date with Leidos
