Requirements

  • Flexibility required.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN).
  • Minimum of 2 years of practical work experience working with Continuing Care Assistants.
  • Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments, and exams.

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated leadership skills including supervision, motivation, and facilitation are preferred.

  • Eastern College Location: Onsite, Halifax campus,6940 Mumford Road, Halifax, NS B3L 0B7 Hours: Part-time position with hours varying between Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Start Date: July 2026 End Date: May 2027 What you'll be doing: The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of the Continuing Care Assistant program curriculum.
