About the role
- The Plant Controller will act as the principal financial authority at the facility, with responsibilities that include planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the accounting and control functions within the plant.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the business unit and corporate departments (accounting, tax, shared services) on necessary reporting and various projects, as requested.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

- This role encompasses reporting operational outcomes, leading the budgeting process, and performing financial analysis and reporting for the plant.
- Oversee the month-end closing activities for the plant, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and the compilation and review of plant financial statements.
- Deliver analytical reports and schedules to plant management and other relevant functional departments as required.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with expertise in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting findings and recommendations clearly and succinctly.
Compensation
- $125,000 - $135,000 annually DOE & Location
- Lead the annual budgeting process and conduct monthly financial analyses for the plant.
