About the role

Responsibilities
- You'll build a network of sources, embed yourself in the market and sniff out the agenda-setting scoops and analysis that keep 9fin ahead of the competition.
- Develop a strong command of the corporate credit world
Requirements
- Have a relentless curiosity and ability to gather, assess, and present information in a niche area
Skills
- Identify sources and build relationships
- Report and write compelling news and feature stories
- Navigate biases and have a strong obligation to the truth
- Have strong interpersonal skills and can easily spark conversation
Compensation
- 401(k) (9fin pays 3%, employee contributions are uncapped)
- 25 vacation days per year
- Hybrid working model, to allow you the flexibility to decide how, where and when you do your best work
- Work abroad for up to 3 months a year
- 1 month paid sabbatical after 5 years of service
- AI experimentation budget of $1,000 per employee to trial AI tools
- Competitive Salary: $100,000-$160,000 (depending on experience)
