About the role

Under general supervision, the Adjunct-Fire Science coordinates and instructs Fire Science academic courses.
Prepares, instructs and grades class coursework.
Serves as a liaison and resource to the fire service community and public-school systems of the service district.

Responsibilities

Maintains a safe and effective classroom environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree with a major in a related field and Florida Certified Fire Fighter and Florida Instructor Certification 1, 2 or 3 required.
Must be a public speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows based applications.
Credit rate $690.00 - $775.00 | Open until filled | Commensurate with Degree/Experience Level
